CERTEX seeks to create jobs and integrate people with functional limitations through the activities of a textile sorting centre which, over the years, has become one of Québec’s main textile collectors.
We are especially proud of Certex’s environmental initiatives. Our processes for recovering used clothing, and reusing industrial and commercial waste consume over 5,000 tons of material yearly which would otherwise have gone to disposal sites. Over the years, employees, management and partners have met the challenge defined in our mission and have managed our growth successfully, ensuring the viability of Certex into the future.
The impact of CERTEX’s mission extends beyond creating jobs by providing employees and their families with a quality of life, including dignity, serenity and happiness, to which all members of our society are entitled.
Also, recycling gives many individuals access to quality clothing and serves industrial applications with economical rags and secondary raw materials.
