Certex has links to many organizations among which we would like to specially mention the following, for their ongoing, major contributions:

The Office des personnes handicapées du Québec (OPHQ)
Certex has been a certified "sheltered work centre” since 1996. Since then, more than 60% of Certex’s work force has consisted of people with functional limitations.

The O.P.H.Q. is Certex’s most important partner and contributes to our activities through grants to the wages of disabled people. This grant program is now managed by the Ministère de l’Emploi et de la Solidarité sociale.

Emploi-Québec partner’s with Certex to help people with difficulties to integrate the regular work force. The Emploi-Québec SSIE program (grants supporting employment integration) is the second most important government aid program for Certex.

The Conseil québécois des entreprises adaptées (CQEA) includes 43 members of the Quebec network of sheltered workcentres. In 2007-2008, this group had a turnover of about $160 million and generated more than 4,300 jobs.

The 43 CQEA member organizations are located across Quebec and are active in the following areas: housekeeping, office supplies, packaging and handling, printing, sewing, wood products, and recycling.
